At the Stallion Approval in Neumünster in 1964 Hohenschmark attracted attention: Both HARTENSTEIN and SCHABERNACK were approved in breeding class I. This was a very remarkable success for the Stud which had been founded only in 1960 by Else and Karl-Andreas Voss in Grebin.
After a changeable history, 13 mostly Trakehner broodmares have now found their home in Hohenschmark, which since the beginning of 2005 has been lovingly and painstakingly restored and modernized and now meets the highest standards of training, keeping and raising of horses.
